Physiotherapy & injury assessment

Detailed assessment and targeted treatment, with a clear plan for your recovery.

What it is

Good for
A new injury, a pain that won't settle, or something that keeps coming back.

After an injury or an operation, or when the pain has eased but the strength hasn't come back.

Performance & injury mitigation

Develop power, refine movement and build resilience for the demands of your sport, activity and everyday life.

What it is
The work that comes after rehab: sport-specific and return-to-play training, speed, power and confidence under load, and a plan to keep you doing what you do. Daniel calls it injury mitigation.
Good for
Anyone going back to sport, building their training, or tired of the same injury every season.

Questions

Before you book.

Anything else, ask Daniel on the free call.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly, or start with the free 15-minute call if you're not sure.

Is it only for athletes?

No. Most of the people Daniel sees aren't professional athletes. They just want to get on with their lives, train, or play their sport properly.

What should I wear?

Something you can move in, like gym kit. Daniel may need to see the area he's treating, so shorts help for a knee or hip and a vest top for a shoulder.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem and what you want to get back to. Daniel will tell you what he expects at the first session. There are no packages to sign up to.

Do I need to be a Manor House Fitness member?

No. Vortex is open to members and non-members.

What does it cost?

Treatment prices are shown when you book online. The free call costs nothing and needs no payment details.
